I just got home from Lofoten. Lofoten is a name of an area with lots of islands. Skrova is the name of the Island where my cabin is!

Update from Norway to Canada

I’m home again form my one week vacation!

I met my best friends and we were together for three days and then i met my other friend at her cabin. I will post some photos here when i get the pictures!

I also went to my Godmother’s cabin, we go there every year. It is very relaxing there!

Home in Norway

This is from my room where I’m going to live for 6 months…

woke up this morning and thought I was in Canada still… hmm

Kananaskis, Stampede and goodbye pictures…

It was a Rotarian that invited me to come to Kananaskis. I went there for a couple of days. It is amazing there, very beautiful! We went horseback riding and I saw a bear! Got very excited…. To see a bear was one of my “must do things” here in Canada, so I’m glad I got to see one! We did some hiking too! Then I went to The Calgary Stampede I got to watch a Chuck-wagon race! Was pretty exciting! I slept over at Nicole’s house, she went to Norway as an exchange student! So funny how things connect, she stayed with my family for 5 months or something, and all of a sudden I got to meet her here in Canada…

I posted some photos from the airport too, was very sad, had to say goodbye to Vishesh from India, and the next day I said goodbye to all the other exchange students…. Can you imagine that you have to say goodbye to something that you just got, and friends that you have spent lots of time with and have had lots of fun with… It is very hard…. I had my PowerPoint presentation at Rotary on Monday, I’m happy with it, went pretty good, Except I started crying, but I guess that just shows them that I had a very good year!

I’m back in Norway soon, only two days now! That feels very weird! When I first came here to Canada I had no idea that it was going to go so fast. Everyone kept saying, “It will go by so fast”, but I wasn’t really sure… – It really did!!!

I will try and get my Mom and Dad to come visit with me next year, I know they would like to come, but I just don’t know when!
